I can't find a listing for the .040 under. You might want to try a junk yard for another crank, or take it to a shop that builds up and regrinds crank shafts. .060 is a bunch and if you want to work the tractor I personly wouldn't want go that small. If you just want it to run it won't make much difference.

Thanks for the information. I have pulled the crank from a parts tractor and to my delight found out this morning that it can get by with .010 on the mains and rods.
