Fella came with semi and 30 bale trailer to load bales today. It is designed to load them end to end, 10-10-10. Pretty high over the front wheels. I have the MDS from Parkston SD bale spears. I had to poke the bales in the side , keep forward pressure on them and use the joystick to lever them up off the ground. I tried a center punch, a liitle higher than center with the spears pointed, down, and a below center with spears angled down. What is the safest procedure? Sometimes the bales were not leaning on the back rest. Farmall 95 , 730 loader with bale spear attachment, 150 gals water in 3 point sprayer And yeah, when we were done loading I went and sprayed 20 acres of crp for CT.
