I had to move my crawler-loader today a few miles across the mountain (1960 Deere 1010). From my woodlot to home. My little 6 year-old kid is pretty cautious and usually says "no" when I ask him along. Today, for the first time he said he wanted to ride. So, stuck him on my lap and across the moutainside we went.
Beautiful day for it. I'm amazed I got the crawler out of the woods. It is so steep you almost can't walk it without crawling on four-legs. This crawler only has flat pads on it; i.e. no high grousers.
A peak behind us as we rolled along . .
My barn in sight . .
Little kid said "that was neat", which is high praise coming from him.
