Jay, Go a mite more and get your young ladies a pellet rifle they will have for their children to use. The Benjamin model 397 hasnt changed in many a year and parts will probably always be available. The more you pump her up the stronger she is with a limit of nine or ten pumps if I remember correctly. I think you have a choice of .177 or .20 cal but may be wrong on that. Crossman used to make a rifle that was competitive with the Benjamin but dont know if they still make it. Crossman does make a cheaper model that will pass for a pellet rifle but not a real good one.
