Well sir, this guy told me his was a 7.3 and I assure you it was RH. Now I didn't investigate the truth or lack thereof as to his engine type, but he is no dummy and ought to know what he bought. Additionally, the pics in the manual matched what we were working on. Besides the new pump he bought from AutoZone was for a 7.3 and it matched the one we removed and it too had RH threads. Looking at the shaft of the new one is where we figured out that the book was wrong. Mark
