So if I understand this correctly you have two cylinders one is controlled by a left hand lever and the second controlled by a right hand lever. You want a way to swap the left and right control operations. If this is correct and if my thinking is right a pair of these hydraulic multipliers would do this. The 4 hoses, 2 for each cylinder where they currently come to the valve would have a T on them running a hose to one of the outlets of this multiplier. To clarify a hose from one side of the T would go to one valve of the pair and the hose from the other side of the T would go to the opposite valve. The current output of your machine control valve would go to the single input of the multiplier that normally connects to the tractors remote outlet like an Ag application. In your case the valves would not have to be electrically switched, you could use a cheaper manual valves and just operate two levers or knobs simultaneously to make the switch. You would kind of have an octopus of hoses. I have no idea if the example valves in the link I am showing have the needed GPM or other specs for what you are doing. I would like to see someone else agree that my proposal is workable. If it seems feasible I would contact Surplus Center in Lincoln, NE and tell them what you are doing. Have your machines flow and PSI for these functions on hand when you contact them. If it is not obvious you would not need or probably want the couplers the valves could be directly plumbed.

Edit to make clarification of some items above and also to add. One feature or attribute this type of valve has that allows it to be used for this is the fact that the out ports that NOT in use are blocked. So the hose from the T that is not carrying flow for the function or is not selected as the ..live.. side is blocked at its connection. If you are considering doing this I could draw you a diagram to show how it would connect and use different color highlighter to show the flow or live oil circuits during the two different selected functions.

Today's Featured Article - An Old-Time Tractor Demonstration - by Kim Pratt. Sam was born in rural Kansas in 1926. His dad was a hard-working farmer and the children worked hard everyday to help ends meet. In the rural area he grew up in, the highlight of the week was Saturday when many people took a break from their work to go to town. It was on one such Saturday in the early 1940's when Sam was 16 years old that he ended up in Dennison, Kansas to watch a demonstration of a new tractor being put on by a local dealer. It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership, ... [Read Article]
