I am installing new bearing races in the crank assembly of my Hesston 1120. The bearing measures 3.5 O.D., the bore is 3.491. I welded the old races to get them out and they still were tight getting out. I put one race in the freezer but I doubt it will shrink to a manageable size in there. Would dry ice get it small enough? I just want to make sure I can get these buggers in without damaging them.
