Gave this field a light coat of manure in January. Took a cut of hayoff,May27. Then I ploughed it over and disced it twice, and ran the corn planter over it on June 12. Finished cutting corn, October 3rd. Never had a double crop field yield as wel as this one did. You can see corn tassels over the tractor cab. Notice how the hard frost we had 2 weeks eariler had fied the top 3 feet of the corn, while the bottom part is still green. I was very glad to have this corn chopped when we did, as it rained for 5 days strait,and things are wet, and muddy now. My wife took these pictures of my brother ,son and myself working. The view of the pit silo, is what I could see from the field. Bruce
