We have had more than our share of rain this week. The Susquehanna river in Northeast PA is set to crest at 38 feet. The levee protects to 41 feet. I worked for the county, on the levee system in 1972 when the Wyoming Valley flooded from hurricain Agnes. Here I am again 39 years later working on the levee system. I am seasonal now but the work is the same. I am keeping my fingers crossed on this one. I live on a Mtn overlooking the river but I still would not like anyone to loose property, things are tough enough.
Hey, it is all New Yorks fault, just kidding LOL. However the water does come from the Chemung water shed area. Hope you New York guys don't beat me up on this.
