YAWN........ Heard that same tired old song every year for 20 years. Never amounted to a hill of beans. A few states had a FEW scales open 24 hrs for the week, but look at the odds..... 10,000 trucks passing through per day. maybe 10 or 12 DOT cops on duty at the scale. They can check MAYBE 5% of the trucks passing through. Best defense - stay legal, and go about your business. Always worked for me. Again YAWNNNNNNNN!!!!!
