Splice in conduit.....bad idea, and not legal White PVC is for water....not electric, not legal. 20' PVC.....they do make 20' electrical conduit, not going to find at big box store.....likely only at electrical supply house, and still may have to special order.
It does take experience and training to use the NEC. It is NOT a installation manual, but rather a reference on correct installations.
