I have no complaints with Craftsman other than not being able to get parts. Of course any Craftsman in my shop is 40+ years old.
Sears royaly $*rewed up taking bids ever 3 or 4 years to have products built. Over the years a few repetubale manufactures built products for Sears but what they built wasn't always of equal quility to the brand name. An example that comes to mind is firearms. Some Ted Williams match Remington 11-48 , 870 and 1100 screw for screw but sure didn't perform the same. I have known some who bought a T. Williams very cheap and had it tweeked by a knowledgeable smity making it pretty reliable.
