I have a South Bend 10'' x 48'' it's a good machine just wish I had the taper attachment for it haven't been able to find one yet. I use the old style belt lacing on the belt on mine never thought gluing it together. Between it and my old Atlas mill I have made quiet a few parts. These machines are not state of the art but they work pretty well for what most of us do with them. I have access to large modern machine shop if it gets to involved. I have found a few parts like different chucks and other small parts at swap meets so keep an I out for them
