Guido, I think, may be wrong, hybrid cars use NiMh batteries. There were issues with Li-ion. Not sure if they got that fixed.
Only problem I have with the battery is that it is so powerful if I use it on sawsall, it will shake the internal connections between cells loose. Had to fix a few times.
For the money you can't beat it. Had mine for 4 years and still going strong.
