I have an Allmand loader backhoe that is powered by a Kohler command 25 hp engine. It starts well, seems to have good power and it saves my back on at least a daily bases. The problem is that when it is hot and you shut it off for a short time and restart it, it will run on one cylinder for a while. Sometimes it picks up the second cylinder suddenly and sometime gradually. The book doesn’t give me a clue as to the problem. Sometimes it pops on shutdown which makes me think exhaust valve but compression seems good. I replaced the plugs and air filter.
