I am a boy scout who is doing an eagle scout project repairing a wagon for a local museum. It is probably an early 1930s Montgomery Ward LoLoad farm wagon. I was directed to you by the Michigan extension service. The numbers on the wheel are 193-L-A and markings on the inside axle are HG41 F&H. Specifically, the tongue was broken off so any information on the length and/ or hitching apparatus that should be at the end of the tongue would be helpful. The wagon and chassis are painted a deep green and the wheels are red. (Is this the origional color scheme?) Any information you could provide would be very appreciated and helpful for the young children who use this wagon as part of their curriculum.
