EJ took a trip off the end of Onondaga Dragway on his V8 motorcycle. A little while later he showed up with the Ugly tractor. I used to watch him pull at the Ingham County Fair. Always funny to see it idle up on the Rotax snowmobile engine, back into position, and then fire up the V-12's. He built one for a lady puller that routed the supercharger over 24 Hillborne injectors, on alky. It never seemed to hook up like his old ones but boy did it sound sweet. Nothin like 496 chevys hitting a harmonic with the old wooden grandstand, but EJ would always be in the hunt. 'Cept the time he broke the planetary and sent a tire downtrack at about 20 MPH. People stayed off the infield rail after that...
