I could see the son of some people I know doing that. They would never discipline him when he was younger, then they pulled him out of school when the Ritalin wouldn't work any more. He goes outdoors about twice a year. He is about 22 now, still living at home, and his whole world is computer games. He bullies his parents if they try to get him to do anything. I wouldn't be surprised if watching blood splatter is his real world, and the transition to a real gun and real blood might be very easy for him. I need to write to my congressmen about those computer games.
