My Long 360, purchased new in early 1978, is leaking lube at the right hand final drive. Feeling with my hand, it seems to be at the gasket where the final drive bolts together rather than at the axle shaft. Removing the wheel is necessary for careful inspection and repair. The tire has liquid ballast plus there is a wheel weight. I cannot handle those alone anymore. Anyone experienced this condition before on this tractor? Can I expect loose bolts on the final drive cover? Damage to the bolts or cover? Looks to me as if the bolts must hold the full stress placed on that side of the rear axle-- which could be quite a lot. GEOK used to frequent this forum and was quite experienced on these tractors. Your help is appreciated.
