tom, when you depress the clutch and try to put it into gear, you have to grind the gears till they stop for it to go into gear,then it will go in and out of gear with no grinding till you let the clutch out and start moving. If you come to a stop and depress the clutch and the brakes at the same time, as to stop the gears from turning, you can shift from gear to gear with no grinding. I have adjusted the clutch as per the manual, but the manual doesnt say anything about brake adj. If you remove the linkage from the clutch brake, the shaft will flop both ways with a clunk sound at both ends like theres no disc material left. Hope I've made it a little clearer hows it acting and any help is appreicated. Thanks, David
