You are very enlightning here. This must be a late 1800 A. Series. Right before I left for the good old army in the fall of 1962 I had to pick up an A series 1800 at the Columbus branch. They still had about 6-10 500 series Cockshutt tractors in branch inventory that came from the closed branch in Bellvue. We had also sold and delivered a new B series tractor by this time and had more new ones comming. I did't know any of the 1800 A series were sold as Cockshutts. Now with your gasket. Who have you contacted? (other than Agco). Also one of the 2 gaskets, don't remember if it is for the A series or the later ones will need to have some different holes punched in the gasket. It was one of those deals no body would accept the responsibility of who fault it was Waukesha or Victor that the correct holes were not all there. They were made to print but to the wrong print. I would like to see a picture of your A series tractor and the tractor and engine serial numbers as well. Thanks in advance. J.
