If passages are that plugged, you will need to disassemble the unit and soak in carb cleaner or white vinegar for a few days, or weeks, then completely clean inside and out using compressed air liberally. DO NOT try to open up the passages with a drill bit. Use a pin or something slightly smaller in diameter than the hole size. The 9N used the M/S TSX-33 carb which has different parts than the later M/S TSX-241 carb. Either one will work but the parts have to be correct. NEW carbs, I have heard have issues. Even if you need to buy a low priced used model on fleabay and then rebuild yourself (which is what I would do)you"re still ahead on both quality and money spent. It can be done for less than $100 -compared to over $200 for one of the new aftermarket Cheena toys.
