The axle pin on the NAA is threaded on one end and screws into the axle support. It is then retained with a locking ring bolted to the front of the support that prevents the axle pin from unscrewing. I'm assuming that is what you are calling the two piece pin. The one piece pins were only used on the N-series. If the threads in the bolt hole for the locking ring are stripped I'd repair them with a thread repair insert.The NAA axle does not float fore and aft - that design was used on the 9N and 2N and ended with the 8N.
