Today I removed the two wires from electronic voltage regulator since the amp gauges still were not showing a charge (one gauge at rear of generator and one gauge in console). For an instant I started tractor and touched the two wires together that were on each side of regulator. I immediately showed 30 amps right after starting the tractor. I turned screw on generator to see if I could reduce the 30 amps but it didn"t, but just would then go to zero if I went to far. What do we conclude guys based upon this info? I do have a new tiawain voltage cutout I could install next. Thanks, Kurt
