Beyond frustrated with this. 43 9n. Looks to be good condition wiring harness. When I bought it it didn"t read a charge. New gauges, generator, put electronic voltage generator, and still nothing. Last week new India generator gave a glimmer of hope and with a amp gauge on the back I was getting 10-12 amps only shortly, then nothing. I sent that back when output screw came loose. Took my original generator and put a 6 amp 6v charger on it on the bench, and it spun slowly. I installed that on tractor and still no charge. Now I"m going to have to remove the hood and maybe look at the voltage reg (not a cutout) again. Maybe I"ll remove that and hook those two wires together to buypass it to see if it charges=is that a dumb idea? I"m at my wits end on this. Thanks
