Well, not really. But, it sure seems like a new machine with the newly installed Hokie Hydraulics live hydraulics kit!! Whether you go with Zane's kit, TOH's or do-it-yourself from Kevin LaRue's How-To on the 'other 8N board' it is a huge improvement to the tractor.
I currently just have the hoses tied up with wire until I decide exactly how/where I want them secured. I also plan to come up with some sort of skid plate to mount over the hose/connections at the sump. And I guess it's time to get started on building a front grill - I have two that are in terrible shape but have sort of a plan in mind for building a new one and using parts from them (maybe). Also need to rebuild my bumper which has only one of the horizontal bars still in place. Not sure what the previous owner did to that!
Here are some pics showing the fittings into the test port, the standoff to move the muffler/tailpipe away from the tractor a little so as to not interfere with the test port connection, hi pressure hose routing, the actual pump and it's mounting plates, suction hose routing and the connection to the belly pump sump.
Not shown is the the pulley that came with the kit that drives the pump and the new king pin that is part of the pump mounting bracket. I also replaced the king pin bushing in the center axle along with the associated spacers and replaced the axle bolts because I had 4 different sizes/types that were all badly rusted.
