This can happen if you jumper the starter as well. It happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was lucky. It was in idle and had a bunch of stuff in front of it to stop and stall it. I turned my back to the rear wheel and rested on the fender to keep the rear tire from pulling me down. I wasn't familiar with the tractor enuff to reach for the kill switch and was busy trying not to get caught in the wheel. Had it not stalled and had room, not sure it wouldn't have hurt me. I rested for a few minutes after that. HTH DON TX
