My 8N has a Davis loader on it with a front mount pump. I had to replace the fan belt once so naturally had to remove the pump. I think what I remember is that the shaft for the pump was threaded on the end and actually replaced that old ratchet thing that held the pulley on and facilitated hand cranking. Any pump should come with everything you need to mount it. Keep in mind that you will also need a tank for the hydraulic oil for the front pump. My Davis loader does not need a tank since a part of the actual frame serves as the tank. If I remember right, that pump shaft was also left threaded in the crank.
I'm thinking that you'll also need the hydraulic levers to operate the front lift. Doesn't sound cheap. But will be much better than using the 8N stock hydraulics.
I've heard talk of people having to actually chain down the three point hitch to get enough hydraulics to the loader. With the front pump I can use my back blade and loader at the same time while repairing my dirt roads.

Paint is another, the modern acrylic enamels are great for resistance to grease and fuel stains, retaining their shine and they last forever; unlike enamels and lacquers . Still another is the alternator. No doubt using the original generator keeps the tractor pure, but for thos
