Not sure anybody saw this on the end of my previous post....
It looks like I will have to take the front end off to replace the fan belt on this 8n. There just isn"t any clearance between the crank pulley and the front motor support housing. By the way this 8n has a freeman loader on it (thus the front Hyd. Pump) so I am trying to figure out the best (safest) way to proceed. I have a jack supporting the front of the engine and s 2x6 on jack stands to catch and slide the front axle assembly on. Anything else I should be prepared for? Also, Where is the best place to take apart the steering linkage? I banged abit on the linkage at the end of the spindle arm but it didn"t seem to want to go anywhere. Tips appeciated!
