If you are going to switch it over, don't mess with the 1 wire systems, search the archives for the 3 wire diagram and do it that way. Charges much better and no need to rev the engine right after starting. Converted my NAA a couple years ago, very happy with it, starter doesn't turn over twice before it pops off.
