I don"t see how it would work as designed, with out the landside wheel and (if you are plowing land with established sod) the coulters. Especially the landside wheel (AKA Tailwheel). Coulters are like big pizza cutters, cuting the sod so it folds over. Without them, it"s hard to get the sod to behave. Without the landside, it has nothing to keep it up against the last furrow. Parts are hard to find for Ferg Plows. That"s why so many have been stripped of parts. There are parts out there, but you gotta look hard.
