Yeah, the old dump rakes were the inspiration for this contraption. But who has time to go to all the auctions on the off chance that what you want will be there? Even if there is an item you are interested in you can spend the whole day waiting for it to come up. And you are right - she is a trooper! At her suggestion she did 7 loads herself with the pickup while I did 10 with the 8N and the trailer.
