I'm on my eigth Ford diesel. It's a 2011 6.7, one of the first ones. It is the best truck I've owned. I've had them all and have run them all in business pulling a forty foot goose neck. The 6.7 get's the best fuel milage and will out pull anything on the rode today. Ford spent eight years developing this engine because the 6.4 and 6.0 that came from Navistar were so crummy. After six years of lawsuits, Ford finally got most of the warranty money that Navistar owed them. So far they have not been into one of the 6.7 engines in our area. With no load it gets 19 on the interstate at 75 MPH and 25 MPG on a two lane road. It is a hoss. It is coupled to a six speed transmission that has been proven over the years in the bigger trucks that Ford makes. Yes, they all are good when they work but if you look at the statistics on who owns work, you will see that Ford does it better hands down. This is my experience.
