I'll be interested in what others have to say. I lifted my M602 engine okay with a chain from the from the front manifold stud to a bolt thru one of the back flange holes being carful not to crush anything with the chain and it did not look to pretty but got it done.
I had to get an better Crankshaft and found a Power Unit block that was reasonable and it came with a Lifting Eye hook made out of Flat metal bolted to the middle 2 head studs and that looks like the way to do it. I would not be surprised if it did not come with it out of the factory. I could provide some dimentions but it looks like something I'll be using from now on.
What kind of a engine stand do you have for them heavy engines? I'm doing mine on its side for lack of better equipment. cleddy
