A GE-30C is tha same head as GE-30A, B or S (same as 10A4203). They have 5.55:1 compression ratio on a stock 403 engine. GE-30 M or Z (same as 10A4210) makes 9.1:1 compression ratio on a stock 403 & makes more HP for pulling. If you are going to lug it much & use it in the field, I would find a pair of one of the following GE-30E, F, H, W or 10A4209 with a compression ratio of 7.3:1. John
