HELP! I am in desperate need of a set of heads for a 53 GTB. The current heads are casting number GE-30C. I don't know if this is interchangeable with other castings or not. Does anyone know where I can find some for rebuilding?

A GE-30C is tha same head as GE-30A, B or S (same as 10A4203). They have 5.55:1 compression ratio on a stock 403 engine. GE-30 M or Z (same as 10A4210) makes 9.1:1 compression ratio on a stock 403 & makes more HP for pulling. If you are going to lug it much & use it in the field, I would find a pair of one of the following GE-30E, F, H, W or 10A4209 with a compression ratio of 7.3:1.

That head cross over to 10A4203 that is a very low compression head.Try to find a set of 10A4210 for the 403 engine they should be easier to find.If you find a set get the push rods to go with the heads.

Go to, or do a search and find, "the unofficial Minneapolis Moline Home Page". Go to classifieds and then to parts. Seems that heads are readily available.

You are probably aware that heads with different numbers will work. Like a 10A4209 or some such thing. I don't know what a GE30C crosses with, but it does cross with something.

Didn't know that for sure - thanks! I've actually sent the heads to AGKITS in New York. They're trying to tracks down some heads also.
