if it's leaking around the cap and barrel it's the O ring or if it's leaking at the cap and rod it's a packing or seal in the cap. in eather case pull ram off the loader then unscrew the cap and pull the rod out not hard but it will take some force then at the end of the rod you have a big nut that holds the rod packing pull apart and replace what you need to. it's easy but messey with the little oil left in the ram
