I have a Mustang (23) and came across your note offering a copy of some info. My troubles started last year with a sticking clutch. It came on gradually over a couple of years but now it will not free up. I've tried some suggestions from here; driving it against a tree to force it to breaqk free. Towing it in a low gear, Removing the clutch viewiing plate underneath and spraying it with one of the penetrating super lubes and prying it apart while under there. Nothing seems to work and now I've compounded my problem. In an attempt to access te clutch from the top of the transmission I had removed all the parts to gain access. Including the seat, plates and all the hydrqaulics. Boy was that a mistake. Now I cant seem to find a way to hook up the hydraulic system to make it work. I do have one manual,. an I&T Massey Harris shop manual but it doesn't show me enough detail to see if I've connected the two hydraulic lines at the correct places. Pressure to pressure and return to return. I also seem to have extended the cylinder all the way out and nothing I do will return it. I had a great deal of trouble linking the follower arm, the one that tells the cylinder when to stop, and I suspect my trouble is there. But again, I have no good picture of how it should be. Any help would be greatly appreciated on either of my problems. Otherwise I will try to pull the whole clutch assembly out and see what I find.
