Hi, OK, we have a little more info now. It seems that the main plate is stuck either to the flywheel (most likely) or the pressure plate. Normally it will be necessary to split the tractor and remove the clutch unit to free it etc. However there is one way that you can try to free it without splitting. Be warned that you do run a risk of breaking the clutch plate or breaking the shear tube in attempting this but it does work sometimes without any damage. Place the tractor on a strip of tarmac or concrete. Crash the gears to get it into top gear by using the throttle and gears. When in top at about half throttle, press the clutch pedal. Stamp on the brake pedal as hard as you can for the shortest possible time. This will free the clutch plate sometimes but as mentioned can also cause damage...so be warned. I have never broken anything in my 40 years of MF experience. If it does not free then you will have to split it. DavidP
