It's not really that big of job to get the fuel tank out, especially since the fuel pick-up tube comes out the top. I've had mine out a couple of times. BTW, when you have the tank out, clean it out really well. Putting a drain in the bottom of the tank would be a good idea too. I got into a big mess one time with fuel algae in mine. As I recall I had to take the tunnel cover and the lower left side panel, the one by the foot rest, off to get the tank out. Right now, especially not looking at the tractor, I don't remember what else had to come off or be loosened up. I'd be glad to answer questions as you proceed though.
