One sold near me a yr ago in KS. Original owner and he USED AND ABUSED IT! Not a straight piece of metal on it. Brought 20K I have one I bought 12 yrs ago before they were in demand to the collectors. Very nice except for the hood. Owner started with a screwdriver while it was in gear. Hit the fuel barrel stand and down came the barrel on the hood. I found a used hood and repainted the tractor since the paint did not match patena-wise. Been a good tractor. Original working tach shows 1130hrs (11,130) and still the original pistons. Had an underhaul at 5600 hrs. Everything that was done from oil changes to the underhaul was written in the back of the owners manual. Plus it was never pulled. had a 158 loader with a Hoeschler bale acummulater grapple on it for loading semis. Has 500# inside weights on rear ordered from factory or dealer installed at 0hrs.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
