You have to figure what the tractor is worth as is?
Worth after restoring to operational condition a 23-33 yr old tractor with how many hours and how much wear?
All and total costs to return to operational condition.
Price of new replacement with no wear, no previous abuse and full warranty?
One has to run the numbers and figure what in your personal situation is cheapest in short and long term.
If it's freeze damage, what else is busted?
Repair or sell/trade and purchase? There is no perfect solution, all are compromises.
