One of the things I do here for my customers is to make sure the lights all work when the tractor leaves,,most of them are older gentlemen who can't climb around on the cabs checking them or don't have the stuff needed to repair them. On older units (that don't have a circuit board) I use a long hot wire and back feed the power to the lights, this is a quick way to prove the bulb and the ground, if they all work from that direction I start at the other end and prove power supply to the switch, then "from" the switch, then I go to conector plugs, a trouble spot is above the right battery, that set of plugs start growing green mold and then poor contact,,,and then hot spots,,we call this system of checking "finding what we have and have not"...
