Power Beyond is a good way to go. That is the full output of the pump, no valves, as it would be sent to a major attachment like a #47 backhoe and such. There is another alternative that works pretty well. Quite often you can buy a pto mounted, just-slide-it-on, hydraulic pump, like those made by Prince, on eBay for less than you'll pay for a Power Beyond kit. If you won't have need for the p-b kit down the road, or you want to be able to run the splitter on any tractor that you happen to have that has a pto, this might be a better way. You'll need to make it self contained, so you need a tank/reservoir, but you will have lots of volume and an impressive splitter. I have built a few, and the standalone pto versions, if you have a CUT diesel which is very economical to run it, are very handy.
