With the timing marks lined up, the pump couldn't slide onto the shaft and be within the limits of the hold down studs, so I put it where it had been before. Crankshaft was at TDC compression no. 1. Now, with no. 1 injector cracked open and hand turning the crankshaft, it pumps the fuel around where no. 2 is at tdc compression. I understand the mechanics of crank pulley, idler pulley, anf pump drive pulley, and the mark on the pump drive pulley is pointing to the center of the crank at no. 1 tdc.
Any help, opinions, or whatever would be apprciated. Thanks.
