I'd say you have the correct tire sizes, the 55A is a rice plow available in 12" and 14" sizes with usually larger coulters and wider wheels. The 55B was 12-14 or 16" widths with clutch lift and intended for regular (dry land) plowing. The 55H is a 55B set up for hydraulic lift and depth control using a remote cylinder. The problem you will encounter when changing to a smaller tire diameter is now your plow is lower and you have lost your useful depth adjustment range as well as clearance. When John Deere changed wheel sizes they also changed the length of the vertical portion of the axle to equalize things. You can put on whatever size wheel you can fit, but be prepared for a "low-rider" plow.
