Twine should come up ot of the box, thru the tensioner and down into the tube, i used to have to pull the twine thru with a piece of wire. Make sure the knife is sharp and adjust or you will fight it all day. If I rember correctly you dont have to shut off the pto to dump the bale, just idle it down,but it has been a few years since I ran the 5530. Baled a lot of hay with it, check all the bearings on the rollers and keep them clean from twine etc. not fun to change.. Let me know if you need anything else...Jim
