Hesston 5530

I am trying to make a little hay with a Hesston 5530 round baler.

It does not have the electric bale tie option.

I am trying to find out the twine threading procedure and

the bale tying and ejection procedure

I am getting a manual but it will not be here before i start baling...Sunday?

I understand that the twine goes threw the tensioner and the tube, but where do it go after that?

Also I understand that the PTO needs to be shut down for ejection, but I do not understand the actual tieing/ knotting process.

I see the rope you pull to swing the twine tub accross the throat of the baller.

I asume I do this w/ tractor stopped and PTO engaged, but idling?!>

Do I get off the tractor to tie a knott?

To tie, stop the tractor put in neutral leave the tractor and pto running at operating speed, Pull the rope to bring the tube all the way over to the left of the baler, the roll will grab the twine and then you move the tube back to the right by moving the rope. Once the tube is back to the right of the baler, then u pull the tube back to the center of bale and then just let it go, this lets the tube fall back to the outside and the twine it cut. cut the pto off, back up the tractor dump the bale and and then move on to makeing the next one.
