I understand the issues you are bringing up: Common practice 'here' is to use a 40' setup on these buggies (some are 50'...) and do a single trip for 250 lbs of maintenence fert in fall. We all use starter up here in the north, and we all use tillage as it's too cold & wet for notill so things get moved around a bit. Guess my point is, you don't hardly ever see anyone doing the double-back overlap, as that wastes too much time. My point, as you seemed to say that doesn't ever happen anywhere in a rather gruff manor. It does happen here. --->Paul
