I have read a lot of posts here about NI corn pickers and I see them from time to time around my neck of the woods for sale - 1 or 2 row. I have some questions about these things. Was NI the 'king' of small corn pickers - I can't say I have ever heard of another brand for 1 or 2 row. When were these things made and what were some popular models? I assume one can't buy a new 1 or 2 row corn picker these days? Can one get parts/manuals for these old NI corn pickers? How did they attach to the tractor? How much HP did they require? Where did the picker dump the corn - on an attached trailer or on a trailer being pulled along side or truck? I might consider a 1 row picker for a restoration project - but I'd like to know more about them first! Thanks in advance, Bill
